  1. What are the dental radiology imaging modalities for which services are provided?
The evaluation and reporting services are provided for
  • Intra-oral dental radiography (IOPA, Occlusal, Bitewing Radiographs)
  • Extra-oral dental radiography (including Panoramic radiograph i.e. OPG, Ceph)
  • Cone-beam Computed Tomography (CBCT).
  1. Who evaluates, assesses and reports the images?
Our trained Maxillofacial Radiologists are solely in charge of evaluating, assessing and reporting of the images.
  1. What is the turnaround time for obtaining the reports?
 The minimum turnaround time depends on case to case.
  • If the clinician or patient requests for a basic/primal report, the same may be sent within 2 hour.*
  • On an average, the turnaround time starts from 4 hours.*
  • In case of multiple implant or impacted teeth cases, the basic/primal report is available only for up to 3 implant sites and 3 impacted teeth.
  • In thesis-related or research related evaluation, the turn-around time depends on the sample sent for evaluation and is variable.
  1. Will a report be obtained for every case?
Although we provide a report for every case, in cases where the clinician/patient do not want a report and require only evaluation of the images, they must inform in prior about the same. The cost for such a service would be lesser.
  1. Can I contact the diagnostician during or after my report is obtained?
Yes, the client may contact the Maxillofacial Radiologist during or after the report is obtained.
  1. How do I send my files?
The client may use any platform such as dicom library, dropbox or google drive, etc. for the same. There are check boxes displayed in the enquiry form. The enquirer is required to check one of the boxes and provide the link in the text box below this.
  1. What are the charges for reporting services?

The costs for our services are very affordable and will be communicated directly to the client following the initial enquiry.

     8.  Is there any other hidden cost other than the cost for reporting services?

No, there are no costs other than the cost for reporting services. This will be communicated directly to the clinician or patient. 

     9.  What is the process of uploading the dicom files?

 transferring or sharing dicom files.

  10. What is Informed Consent?

Informed Consent” is a legal document where the patient grants permission to provide a service after understanding the procedure and the outcome of the procedure. The following steps are essential.
  • Once an initial enquiry is obtained, we will send the client the informed consent.
  • The consent must be read by the patient.
  • After reading the consent form, in the Enquiry Form, the client needs to click/check the checkbox with the statement- “I give my consent to The Dentomaxillofacial Teleradiologist Solutions”.

11. Can I send my radiology related study for re-evaluation or re-assessment?

Yes, research studies can be sent only for re-evaluation or re-assessment. Further information is given here.

 

12.  How do I make the payment?

The clients will be sent a personal payment link which they can access to complete the process of payment. We use only PayPal and Instamojo for the payments and the enquirer need not have an account in these sites for payment.      
   
The payment can be done using the following methods.

  • Net Banking
  • UPI (Unified Payment Interface)
